oisin lunny

I first met Oisin at a Smugglers Music gig we were providing the SoundSystem for at Venue M. Danny highly recommended him & he didn’t disappoint.

Oisin has a long history in music, a true connoiseur of quality. in 1998 he released a single “The Mood Club” and the follow up LP “When It Hits You Feel No Pain” (Independiente).

“When It Hits” is about lost weekends, abandonment to the dual pursuit of oblivion and stunningly great music, and about the heart of darkness that beats at the core of every great all-nighter... a breathlessly ambitious and inventive work, holding its hands in the air with a cruelly heavy heart.

Oisin has co-written a top 30 hit and 4 top 75 hits. Writing, production, performance & remix collaborations have included: Beth Orton, Bono & Adam Clayton, David Gray, Gangstarr, U2, Depeche Mode, Sinead O‘Connor, Shara Nelson, Mary Love, Linda Clifford, Ted Barnes & Melaton.

Oisin provides us with two shows, the first is dedicated to all involved in the Tea and Burlesque extravaganza that was a Time For Tease @ Bestival 2008. the second is his summer podcast. both are packed full of nutrious treats & hidden gems.
